The WE ARE ALL HUMAN mural was created by LGBTQ+ youth and allies in the Fishers and neighboring communities. PFLAG Fishers’ vision was to foster an inclusive, collaborative environment by inviting LGBTQ+ youth and allies to participate in the design and painting of the mural. Our purpose was to promote a positive and inclusive message of support and to build meaningful relationships among LGBTQ+ youth and their allies. Our goal was to raise awareness in our community that PFLAG Fishers offers support, education, and advocacy for LGBTQ+ people, families, friends, and allies. This mobile mural will allow for travel to other areas in the Fishers community.
We would like to express our gratitude to the Fishers Arts and Cultural Commission for making this mural possible. Thank you to the Ignite Studio at the Hamilton East Public Library for hosting us and providing a collaborative space to create our mural.
