We are thrilled to announce that Shelly Fitzgerald from Shelly’s Voice and her father, Pat, will join us and share their journey. It is a love story that has had its ups and downs, but never gave up.  Together they will share their story and their sometimes struggling- sometimes heart wrenching- always loving path toward trying to understand Shelly coming out at 19 years old. Pat will share how he wishes he had known someone that he could have confided in and asked questions that seemed to have no answer. At least no answers that he wanted to hear.

This month we’ll have guest speaker Kristen Ludeker-Seibert, Director of Coordination at A Healthier Hamilton County: Systems of Care. She’ll be presenting about suicide prevention and providing 3 steps we can take to help save someone from suicide. We’ll have a shortened support and connection meeting for 30 minutes following the presentation.

Celebrate the season with PFLAG and Conner Prairie! The reception starts at 4:30 and will have activities and crafts for families while we reconnect and make new connections with our friends in the community. We will have access to all the Merry Prairie activities and light display starting at 5:30 pm. You must attend the reception to receive your tickets to the discounted Merry Prairie event. Registration is required for reception and Merry Prairie event.
